
Blue Portland Maine (or BPM) is a community-arts nonprofit organization that hosts approx. 250 events that feature over 2000 performers, reaching more than 10,000 people every year.
Since opening in 2005, Blue has been mentioned in major publications including Rolling Stone and The New York Times. The Portland Museum of Art Magazine states: “Real cities need places like Blue - casual, fun, and unassuming spots where music leads the way.”

is to facilitate, participate in, and chronicle community-building events in the arts.

is to exist within and contribute to a collaborative network of like-minded organizations that create opportunities for Independent artists.
