What Does Booking at BPM Mean?

Booking at BPM means collaboration! BPM is just one stop in a performer’s journey! We want to see artists grow, and we want our creative community to be awesome and evolving. BPM responds best to multi-performer pitches that use local artists to expand audiences and create opportunities for artists beyond our walls.

Types Of Gigs

We book either Pay What You Can or Ticketed gigs for music acts. We give preference to full bills with 3-4 acts with AT LEAST 2 of them being local.

PWYC

Attendees are invited to pay any amount they can afford at the door, eliminating any financial barriers for people to enjoy your live performance.

Always 18+

Payment Breakdown:

Sunday-Thursday Gigs

Funds collected will be split 90/10 with 90% going to Artists and 10% retained by BPM for sound/promo/etc.

Friday-Saturday Gigs

Funds collected will be split 80/20 with 80% going to Artists and 20% retained by BPM for sound/promo/etc.

TICKETED

Recommended for shows that are guaranteed sell-out, allowing attendees to purchase tickets beforehand.

Always 18+

Payment Breakdown:

$50 from all ticket sales goes to the door person, and then 70/30 split with 70% going to Artists and 30% retained by BPM for sound/promo/etc.

Are you performing solo, or with a band/ensemble?
(We do not book solo performers unless they are a part of a fully pitched bill)

Beyond Performance

We envision our room as a place to further creative goals beyond performing for an audience.

The most valuable tool for a musician to book shows: a recorded live performance. Reach out if you want to record your booked set with your budget and hopes/dreams. We're in the midst of formalizing our rates, so stay tuned!

BPM offers educational opportunities to expand artist skills in areas like Live Sound, Show Running, Promotion and more.

BPM is also a great place for skill shares, workshops, film screenings and presentations.
