WHAT OUR ROOM OFFERS

BPM is known for its moody atmosphere, prominent stage, professional audio setup, full service bar, and excellent downtown location on Maine's busiest street.

Stage

Full access to the stage in the front of the room which is equipped for music performances, presentations, screenings and more.

We use a Midas M32r Digital Mixing Console with (2) QSC 12” mains and

(2) monitors for Stage R/L. Includes the service of a sound technician.

Sound

Bar Service

Fully staffed bar with a diverse cocktail menu and novelty snacks.

Seating

We have a seating capacity of 65, and a maximum occupancy of 110.

We can create a variety of seating layouts with our provided tables and chairs, from an intimate dinner party to an open dance floor.

Booking a Gig

We book either Pay What You Can or Ticketed gigs for music acts. We give preference to full bills with 3-4 acts with AT LEAST 2 of them being local.

PWYC

Attendees are invited to pay any amount they can afford at the door, eliminating any financial barriers for people to enjoy your live performance.

Payment Breakdown:

Sunday-Thursday Gigs

Funds collected will be split 90/10 with 90% going to Artists and 10% retained by BPM for sound/promo/etc.

Friday-Saturday Gigs

Funds collected will be split 80/20 with 80% going to Artists and 20% retained by BPM for sound/promo/etc.

TICKETED

Recommended for shows that are guaranteed sell-out, allowing attendees to purchase tickets beforehand.

$50 from all ticket sales goes to the door person, and then 70/30 split with 70% going to Artists and 30% retained by BPM for sound/promo/etc.

We review submissions on a rolling basis, and are usually 3 months booked out. Due to the amount of submissions we get, we're not able to respond to everyone individually... This isn't a reflection of your capabilities as a performer! We're a small team limited by our capabilities as mere mortals.

Artist submissions with live performance videos, audio recordings, links to social media accounts/websites, and preferred dates often receive the quickest responses
