Comedy shows with mostly women - the only organization as such in Maine!

Since most comedy shows you are lucky to have one or two women on the line-up, we’ve switched the gender dynamics of conventional comedy shows - as such our shows are a much different, and in our humble opinion a more magical vibe. Join us! Won’t you?

Don’t miss CARI KENISTON. Starting comedy over a decade ago in the DC comedy circuit and Winning The Price is Right like all other great voices of the millennial generation - Cari, a Maine native who returned to the Maineland has been wowing, awing and cracking up audiences for as long as she can remember.

Micaela Tepler has been described as a treasured talent and local cultural barer by over 4 now defunct local publications. Some would say "she's a teacher with a crude attitude" , but Micaela was a comedian first, folks, and that's why we love her! 

Danny Jordan has been a staple of the Portland comedy scene for 8 years. He is the host and producer of Maine's only queer comedy show, Deep Thoughts, has performed with Don't Tell Comedy and recently opened for Alok Vaid-Menon. 

Danny is like good champagne;  Bubbly yet dry, and makes you want to kiss a stranger.

Timmy “babyface” Elliott recently opened up for Big Jay Oakerson at Empire Comedy Club, placed 3rd in Portland’s Comedy Festival’s competition in 2023 and has been tearing up the Maine comedy scene for a while. He hosted a popular open mic at the now defunct Coals, and has also faced literal hell fire when the roast beef food truck he was working in, blew up. Come see him before his fame blows up and he’s still humble!

Somali-Kenyan stand-up comedian, Mo Awale  has performed across the U.S., from Chicago to Rockland, Maine, including Portland's own, State Theatre. He has produced and performed for Don't Tell Comedy, and co-founded Maine House of Comedy.

"Amanda Reynolds-Gregg is a lifelong Mainer and chaotic bisexual who has been doing comedy for five years. She has brought her comedic storytelling style to local Maine shows like Screw Loose & Fancy Free, Deep Thoughts, and Talk of the Town. She has a youtube channel (@MainelyMandy) and even sleeps on occasion."

Cheech is not the Cheech you are thinking of. She’s a different Cheech. Cheech lives in Portland, Maine but self-identifies as “from Florida.” Cheech is a lawyer by day and comedian from 6-9 pm. She was in a sorority and likes to sleep and jump rope. She was the President of the Harry Potter fan club in the 5th grade and used the same speech in her 5th grade speech competition and 6th grade speech competition. She won both times so she doesn’t feel too bad about it. She also won the Bryant Moore Civil Rights Moot Court Competition in 2020 - a feat that is still spoken of in hushed, reverent tones. She cares deeply about reproductive justice and was a founding member of the University of Maine School of Law If/When/How: Lawyering for Reproductive Justice chapter. She has made no significant achievements in comedy except being naturally hilarious.
