Memberships and donations directly support the following programs

Jazz Sesh
A weekly jazz event focused on community building and collaboration. The rotating house band hosts the sesh - after a short set, they invite anyone with an instrument and/or a tune to join them on the stage. The host welcomes and incorporates players regardless of skill level. It is common to see experienced touring artists play with music students, resulting in truly unique performances!

Open Mic Variety Hours
A weekly music and comedy Open Mic where musicians and comedians can sign-up to play original music and tell their jokes. We welcome performers of all experience levels to try out material, work on their stage performance, and connect with other performers. The connections and confidence built at our open mic have enabled performers to form bands and pitch comedy shows which have been very successful in our space!

Live Sound Program
At BPM we believe that all performances are worthy of professional sound engineering. We staff a sound technician at every event, no matter how big or small. Furthermore we believe that sound engineering is the unsung hero of the performance experience, aka the silent band member. We relish the opportunity to share the gospel of live sound, and take a stand against gatekeeping through providing educational opportunities.
