Selecting Professional Communications for Facility Management
I manage maintenance and security operations for a large commercial shopping center and multi-story parking complex. We are having significant issues with our current short-range handsets dropping signals whenever staff members move into underground levels or concrete stairwells. I am looking to upgrade our hardware to high-power commercial radios that can easily penetrate dense building materials and cover our entire site reliably. Where can I buy reliable commercial communications equipment that will suit a demanding commercial environment?

I experienced similar signal dropouts at our venue until we upgraded our equipment to professional grade hardware. I highly recommend checking out licensed two-way radios through a dedicated telecom equipment distributor. High-power licensed radios operate on higher wattage levels on dedicated frequencies assigned by Ofcom, which easily cuts through concrete walls, steel structures, and subterranean parking zones. Upgrading our fleet solved all our coverage dead zones, and our security staff can now communicate instantly anywhere on the premises.
